I started in IT with a broad base: programming, servers, databases. What pulled me in was the moment a design becomes something people can actually use, so I moved to front-end development. Now I am looking for an internship where I can build real interfaces next to people who do this every day.

The road so far

my Path

  1. Secondary school

    Informatica Beheer

    Sint-Jozef Sint-Pieters

    • Learned a broad IT base (Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Swift) and how servers, hosting and networks work.
    • It put me on track for a start in IT and showed me its different fields.
  2. Bachelor, 1,5 year

    Applied Computer Science

    Toegepaste Informatica, Howest Brugge

    • Software, websites, databases, servers, cyber security, SQL, Laravel, Java and professional communication.
    • I was also drawn to servers, networks, cyber security and AI, but chose what drives me most, web development and interfaces, and switched to Devine.
  3. Bachelor, 2 years

    Devine

    Howest Kortrijk

    • Built responsive web apps with React and Astro on the front end and Strapi and others on the back end. Final project: an app that draws young tourists to Antwerp through memories left behind by others.
    • Worked on motion, APIs, real-time and machine learning projects (WebRTC, ML5.js), plus group projects for real clients and group projects with Git and GitHub. Passed Most of the courses.
  4. Graduaat, final yearNow

    Web Development & Design

    Howest Kortrijk

    • The final year of the front-end developer trajectory, combining web development and design, with real projects for industry partners and an internship.
    • Currently learning: Vue.js, Laravel and CraftCMS for an even broader knowledge.
